At *God Bless the Beatles*, we take pride in our pictures. Almost every image you will find
on this site has been tweeked or toyed with, for clarity and to provide the cleanest, clearest image possible. Because
of this *extra* effort, that is why you'll often see our request to please not take pictures without asking. Some people have
condoned us as "petty" and "selfish" because of this policy - "Who are YOU to say we can't steal your pictures?" Well first
of all, they are not MY pictures and I'm very clear in stating that. I don't "claim" any rights or ownership to them, as that
is not my right. However, I *do* believe out of common courtesy for the work and efforts I put into bettering the pictures
you enjoy so, it's nice for someone to ask first. Another popular defence mechanism: "If you choose to publish your pictures
on the Internet, than they are not YOUR pictures anymore and anyone should be able to use them." Really? Then I suppose if
you write a fabulous essay on the Internet and I find it, hell, it's published. I guess I could steal that too, right?
Just because I make something available to look at, doesn't mean I'm promoting people to take as they please. In fact, its
out of the goodness of my heart that I even publish all the rare and unique photographs I do! I could very well not use ANY
pictures on this site, which would void your so well-thought-out theory of "If it's there, it belongs to everyone". But I
don't. And the reason is, that there are a good majority of HONEST people out there, who don't hold the intention of rape
and pillage. All they want is to sit down, relax, and enjoy the site. That's what it's here for. I thought I might show you
just a little "behind the scenes" look of how all these fabulous pictures come about. There's so much more to it than clicking
'save' and uploading a picture on your site. Here are a couple examples of pictures, before I editted them and after. Call
them Picture Make Overs, if you will.
